At the Omni Hotel in New York City, our team completed a complex rooftop mechanical upgrade focused on improving reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance of the building’s cooling infrastructure. The 2025 project involved rigging in place four counterflow cooling towers while maintaining tight site constraints typical of a dense urban environment. Scope of work included the full replacement of condenser water supply (CWS) and condenser water return (CWR) piping, along with the installation of four new variable frequency drives (VFDs) to enhance system control and energy efficiency. This project highlights our expertise in executing technically demanding mechanical installations in active hospitality settings with minimal disruption to operations.
